Patna: The grand alliance, which is preparing for Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, has suffered a major setback in Jehanabad. During the Bihar Adhikar Yatra of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav at Gandhi Maidan in Jehanabad, party workers openly protested against local MLA Suday Yadav. The protest was so fast that slogans echoed at the venue itself, “Remove Suday, Save Jehanabad” and “not hated with Tejashwi, Suday’s goodness”.

The crowd gathered in the meeting and gave him a grand welcome when Tejashwi Yadav arrived, but in a short time the slogans echoed the political atmosphere. The workers alleged that Suday Yadav had misused the amount of development works in his area and distributed this amount among his special supporters. He was also accused of wandering from the politics of social justice and secularism.
Local leaders Gajendra Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, Manish Kumar, Mo. Many others including Saif, Shahnawaz Iqbal and Mustafa Parveen said that we have no hatred with Tejashwi Yadav, but Suday Yadav has insulted the party workers. He has taken advantage of his political reach by neglecting the rights of the public. The protest will continue until their ticket is deducted.

Tejashwi Yadav’s visit started on Monday from Gandhi Maidan in Jehanabad. Despite the rains for two days, posters and banners were decorated on the streets of the city. The enthusiasm of the workers appeared at its peak in his reception, but in the meantime a wave of protest also arose. Fida Hussain Mor and Ghosi Mor were shouted slogans by stopping Tejashwi’s convoy, which also attended the minority community. He directly appealed to Tejashwi not to listen to the voice of party leadership workers and do not give tickets to Suday Yadav.

Jehanabad is a strong stronghold of RJD
Jehanabad Assembly is considered to be the stronghold of RJD, after 2000 RJD has lost only one assembly elections here. In such a situation, there is a danger bell for the solidarity of the Grand Alliance. In the 2020 election, this region was decisive for the Grand Alliance. If resentment over ticket distribution increases, it can affect not only Jehanabad but also in other districts.
The purpose of Tejashwi Yadav’s Bihar Adhikar Yatra is to win the trust of the people and strengthen the grand alliance. But this protest that came up in Jehanabad has become a challenge for the party.
