Vishnu Priya has once again landed in the spotlight, this time after filing a police complaint against a fellow YouTuber at the Miyapur Police Station in Hyderabad.
A few weeks ago, Vishnu Priya faced heavy trolling on social media over her Instagram subscription service.
Critics accused her of posting obscene content and misleading youngsters for financial gain.
Amid the controversy, a Telugu YouTuber named Sonali reportedly uploaded a roasting video targeting the anchor.
In response, Vishnu Priya filed a complaint against the YouTuber, alleging false propaganda and online harassment. Based on her complaint, police have reportedly registered a case.
The anchor has also warned that she will continue to take legal action against any YouTuber or social media personality who creates content aimed at harassing or defaming her.
Police officials confirmed that they had received the complaint and said they are currently examining the social media accounts linked to the alleged harassment.
Authorities added that further action would be taken based on the findings of the investigation and the available evidence.
