These smart glasses have been introduced in two premium designs, which have been developed in collaboration with famous eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. These smart eyeglasses will act as a companion to your mobile phone. It brings together AI technology and everyday comfort with a voice-command driven AI assistant and seamless connectivity with the phone.
Features of Intelligent Eyewear
This new intelligent eyewear combines the best of Samsung’s hardware engineering, Google’s AI technology, and the premium design heritage of Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. Gentle Monster is offering modern and stylish designs, while Warby Parker is known for its classic and timeless designs.
These smart glasses work by understanding the environment around the user in real-time and provide many services without using hands. You can speak to “Gemini” by voice to get directions, find nearby coffee shops while you’re on the go, place orders, get a summary of important messages, and even add events to your calendar. Apart from this, it also has the facility of real-time translation, which instantly translates what the other person says. Additionally, it can also do live translation of text written on menu cards and signboards. Working smartly with the Galaxy ecosystem, you can take photos and carry out daily tasks without taking out your phone.
Its first collection will be launched in select markets by the end of this year. The company will give more information about this in the coming months.
