Xiaomi has launched the new 17 Max smartphone. It has an 8,000mAh battery, 100W charging, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and a 200MP triple camera from Lycra. Its price starts from 4,799 yuan.
Beijing: Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has officially launched its newest flagship smartphone, Xiaomi 17 Max. This new model was introduced in a special launch event held in China recently. This is the fifth model of Xiaomi 17 series. Along with this phone, the company also launched Xiaomi YU7 GT Electric Car, Xiaomi Band 10 Pro Smart Band and Xiaomi Ear Clip TWS Earbuds.
Xiaomi 17 Max: Camera, Battery and Processor
Xiaomi 17 Max is attracting everyone’s attention due to its large battery and powerful camera system. The phone has a large battery of 8,000mAh. This is the largest battery in the Xiaomi 17 series so far. It also supports 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. This feature has been given keeping in mind those users who want long battery life. The phone has a 6.9-inch 1.5K DD display, whose refresh rate is 120 Hz. Its peak brightness is 3,500 nits and it also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. To power the phone, it has Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It has up to 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage.
For photography enthusiasts, Xiaomi has partnered with Leica to create a triple rear camera system. This setup includes a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP camera is provided on the front for selfies and video calling.

Talking about the price, the price of the base model of Xiaomi 17 Max starts at 4,799 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 68,000). At the same time, the price of the top model is up to 5,799 yuan (about Rs 82,000). This phone will be available in Pixel Black, Sky Blue and White color options. Its sale in China will start from May 25.
