Who is Ashish Kumar Dash?
Ashish Kumar Dash has graduated in engineering from IIT Kharagpur, one of the top institutes of the country. Apart from this, he has also completed the Global Leadership Program from the world’s leading Stanford University. He has more than 30 years of experience working in the tech and digital transformation sector. Currently, he is posted as Executive Vice President (EVP) in Infosys and is handling the company’s international business from Los Angeles, USA.

When will Ashish Kumar Dash take charge of Infosys?
Ashish Kumar will work with the existing leadership as CEO-designate till March 31, 2027. From April 1, 2027, he will become the full-time CEO and MD of Infosys. Along with the change in leadership, the board of Infosys has also taken a big step to encourage the employees. The company has given the green signal to issue 9,836 Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) i.e. shares of the company to new employees. These shares will start being distributed from August 1, 2026 and will be given to the employees over the next 3 years.
