Niket Raj Dwivedi, founder of ‘Medial’, posted this video on X. In the video, sparks are seen continuously coming out from an electric pole in Indira Nagar and then there is an explosion in the wires. Niket wrote along with the video, “Heavy rain and electric wires in Indira Nagar… brrrr.”

As soon as the video went viral, many people expressed concern about the exposed electrical wires in the comments. One user wrote, “This is very dangerous. Everyone should check the wiring of the pole. This happens because tape is used instead of insulation tube. These tapes dry quickly and the wires come out.”

Another user commented that the short circuit might have been caused by open wires. To this comment Niket replied, “Yes, it was glowing red just before the explosion.”
