If you also want to keep the plants green at zero expense, then you can make four types of fertilizers from the daily waste which will act as a lifeline for the plants.
tea and jaggery fertilizer
You may have heard about fertilizer made from tea leaves, but you can prepare a good fertilizer from the tea leaves left after making tea. For this, mix a little jaggery in two spoons of tea leaves and keep it in a jug of water and cover it for 7 days. After two to three minutes, remove the lid of the jug, if the smell starts coming, it is getting cooked properly. You can put it in the roots and leaves of plants. It is considered best for indoor plant.
banana peel compost
Banana peel fertilizer can be used to remove yellow leaves of plants. Potassium is found in abundance in it. Put banana peels and a little jaggery in a container and fill it with water and filter it for 10 days and separate the water. Before use, mix it 10 times in water and use. It is considered good for the growth of all types of fruit and flowering plants.

lemon peel compost
If you have planted citrus fruit plants like orange, tangerine or lemon at home, then this fertilizer can be chosen to improve the quality of the soil. Add a little jaggery to lemon or other fruits and keep it in water for a week. After this, use 1 part liquid mixed with 10 parts water. It contains Vitamin C and citric acid which balances the PH level of the soil.

onion peel compost
It works like a multi vitamin for plants. Mix onion peels with water and jaggery and let it ferment for seven days. After this, mix it in 1-10 ratio and use it. It contains potassium, calcium and iron which gives overall growth to the plants.
