BSP chief Mayawati has appealed to the government and the protesters for a peaceful solution to the protest by ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ at Jantar Mantar regarding the NEET paper leak. He said that corruption is eating the country like termites and it should not be politicized.
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Thursday urged the Central government and protesters to work together to find a “peaceful and amicable solution” to the ongoing ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar over NEET paper leak irregularities.
In a post on Twitter, Mayawati said the indefinite protest near Parliament has highlighted the serious impact of paper leaks and other irregularities on students and their families. He wrote, “The indefinite protest led by the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) at Jantar Mantar near Parliament in the national capital has been going on for several days, highlighting the serious impact on students and their families due to paper leaks and other irregularities in major examinations like NEET.”
Mayawati said the protests have created a “huge uproar” from the streets to Parliament, and the politicization that has followed has turned it into a direct confrontation with the government. He said, “This protest has created a huge uproar from the streets to Parliament; the subsequent politicization has turned it into a direct confrontation with the government – this is a serious situation that the country must address, as it is disrupting daily life not only in Delhi but also in various states.”
Told corruption as the real reason
Furthermore, the BSP chief said that the “controversial issue of theft of offerings in Ayodhya Shri Ram temple” and problems like paper leaks in national and state level examinations are basically the result of corruption flourishing at every level.
