This is how the game was done through call pot, the employee blew up 250 crores of the company

Bangalore’s well-known real money gaming company Gameskraft Technologies is in the news these days due to a big financial scam. But the surprising thing is that this fraud has been carried out by any outsiders, but the senior employee of the company itself. Ramesh Prabhu, the former group of the company, is accused of throwing the company’s money into futures & options (F&O) trading, causing the company to suffer a loss of more than Rs 250 crore.

An email opened the pole

This shocking case came to light when on March 5, Ramesh Prabhu himself sent an email to the company and gave the confession of this fraud. He wrote that he was using the company’s funds for his trading activities for the last 3-4 years. He also claimed that no other employees were involved in this work and he took all the decisions alone.

When the company started an internal investigation after this email, there were shocking revelations one after the other. According to the report, illegal transactions worth about Rs 231 crore were done.

False story created by fake documents

The FIR has made several serious allegations against Ramesh Prabhu, including theft, betrayal, fraud, and forgery. It has been told in the complaint that Prabhu withdraws money from the company’s bank accounts and transferred it to his private account through RBL Bank. Not only this, he prepared fake mutual fund statements and bank records to show these transactions investment. Due to this scam, the company had to get Rs 270 crore right off in its FY 2025 accounts, that is, they will never get the money back now.

The news of this scam has come at a time when the Indian government has increased strictness on online real money gaming. Due to the new rules, Gameskraft has decided to shut down its popular Rummi and Poker apps like POCKET52. The company has clearly stated that it will not fight a legal battle and will now find such new digital gaming solutions which are in line with the laws of the country.
