King Indrasen’s dream

One night they see their father in a dream. His father stood in Pitriloka in a sad state. He said to the king, son, I am suffering in Pitriloka due to the deeds of previous birth. Arrival of Narada Muni
The very next day, Devarshi came to Narada Mahal. The king bowed to him and narrated the dream condition. Narada ji said that O Rajan, this coincidence is not meaningless, your father is really suffering in Pitriloka. If you want to save them, then fast on Ekadashi of Ashwin Krishna Paksha, which is called Indira Ekadashi. On this day, by fasting, Vishnu Puja, Pitra Tarpan and Donation, the ancestors get heaven.
Fasting preparation
King Indrasen prepared for this fast with full enthusiasm and reverence. A day ago, after bathing on Dashami Tithi, he took a resolution and took a satvik diet. After bathing in the morning on the day of Ekadashi, he lit a lamp in front of the idol of Vishnu. Offered Tulsidal, yellow flowers and bhog. Belpatra and Ganga water offered on Shivling. Tarpan and shraddh for the fathers and donated food to Brahmins.
Miraculous results
At the end of the fast, King Indrasen again saw his father in his dream. But this time his nature had changed.
