India Pakistan Ceasefire: Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that India is not ready for the mediation of any third country. In this way, he has rejected Donald Trump’s claim to stop the fight between India and Pakistan.
Ishaq Dar Busts Donald Trump Claim: India launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. From May 7 to May 10, there was a military struggle between India and Pakistan. US President Donald Trump claimed that the fight between India and Pakistan stopped due to his mediation. Trump has repeatedly claimed this even after being rejected by India.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar accepted the truth
Now Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has removed the balloons of Trump’s claims. Dar has accepted the truth, saying that India never agreed to mediate a third party on issues between the two countries. Saying this, Dar has weakened the US President’s claim to hold a ceasefire.
Dar said that when Pakistan raised the possibility of mediation with India in front of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, he made it clear that New Delhi has always said that all issues with Pakistan are “completely bilateral”.
India did not agree to American mediation
The US proposed a ceasefire in May after Operation Sindoor. It was said that talks between India and Pakistan will be at a neutral place. In a meeting with Rubio in Washington on 25 July, Dar was told that India did not agree on the proposal.
Pakistan ready for talks with India
Dar told Al Jazeera, “We have no objection to the participation of the third party, but India is clearly saying that this is a bilateral matter. We have no objection from bilateral conversation, but the conversation should be widespread. Terrorism, trade, economy, Jammu and Kashmir, all subjects that we have previously discussed.”

Dar said, “India says this is a bilateral issue. We are not begging anything. We are a peace -loving country. We believe that the conversation is a way to move forward, but two people are needed to negotiate. If India replies, Pakistan is ready for talks.”
