Masood Azhar’s family killed in Bahawalpur air strike
In this sequence, Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has admitted for the first time that Masood Azhar’s family members were killed in the air strike of India in Bahawalpur. Azhar is the head of Jaish. He is responsible for carrying out many major terrorist attacks in India. During Operation Sindoor, Indian Air Force attacked Jais’s headquarters in Bahawalpur.
In a video that went viral, Jaish’s top commander Masood Ilyas is seen talking about the damage to the terrorist organization with Kashmiri security personnel. Kashmiri said that Azhar’s family was “shattered in pieces” in an attack on Jaish headquarters-Jamia Mosque Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur on 7 May.
India carried out an accurate attack at Jaish headquarters
On 22 April, Pakistan-backed militants attacked Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Due to this 26 people were killed. India’s forces launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May. During this period, 9 bases of terror present in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir were destroyed by an airstrikes. These include Bahawalpur.
Bahawalpur is the 12th largest city in Pakistan. It is 400 km from Lahore. The people killed here were also 10 relatives of Masood Azhar. It included her sister, her husband, her nephew, her niece and her family. Azhar’s four colleagues were also killed in this attack before dawn.
Pictures taken from the satellite after the attack showed heavy damage to a dome of the mosque and massive destruction inside. It was clear that the people below it would not be left. However, Pakistan never admitted that Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists have been killed in India’s attack. According to eyewitnesses and foreign media reports, the family members of Azhar’s family were cremated. Azhar is rarely visible publicly. He also appeared there for some time and went away in a few minutes.

Where is Masood Azhar?
Masood Azhar, a terrorist banned by the United Nations, is living in Pakistan. He has been the mastermind of many major terrorist attacks in India. These include the 2016 Pathankot attack and the 2019 Pulwama attack. Azhar was last seen in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. It is more than 1,000 kilometers away from his Bahawalpur stronghold. He was seen at the tourist destination Scardu.
