Lucknow (UP): When Pratistha Gupta decided to leave her job as a content marketing strategist at a Lucknow firm, she left no stone unturned in her resignation. Rather, in his letter he vented out the anger that had been suppressed for months. She was fed up with the low salary and bad environment of the company. 21 year old Pratistha posted a copy of this letter on Instagram, which is now going viral. In her resignation email, Pratistha clearly wrote that she was leaving the job immediately and mentioned all the occasions when she was made to work more than her salary.
In her resignation letter dated March 9, 2026, Pratishtha explained all her problems. She wrote, “I am sending you this email to officially inform you of my departure. Today, March 9, 2026, is my last day. Consider this my final log-out.” He further wrote, “To tell you the truth, the accounts are no longer being settled, the atmosphere here is completely rotten and the return on my peace of mind is now going negative.”
She further wrote, “I took a look at my daily work and my bank account and realized that I am playing a game of 5 people all by myself.” After this, she humorously enumerated all the positions which she was holding in the company despite the low salary.
The letter read, “Video editors and designers: Making sure the brand doesn’t look like a PowerPoint presentation from 2005. Analysts: Questioning their life decisions while examining data. SEO and WordPress developers: Fighting Google’s algorithms and poorly designed pages.”
Additionally, she added that she was also working as an HR liaison, director and content strategist, “and was crying inside.” According to reputation, she was handling all these responsibilities “for the price of one Savarado toast”.
