According to the Panchang, the full moon date of Jyeshtha Adhikamas will begin on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:57 am. It will end on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 2:14 pm. According to Udayatithi, the main festival of Snan-Daan and Purnima will be celebrated on 31 May 2026. Whereas Purnima fast will be observed on Saturday, May 30.

On the day of Jyeshtha Adhik Purnima, many auspicious times are being created for bathing and donation. There is a religious belief that charity done during these auspicious times brings special results. On this day, the first bath and donation is in Brahma Muhurta from 4:34 am to 5:17 am. Then Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12.10 pm to 1.03 pm. Lastly, Vijay Muhurta will be from 2:48 pm to 3:41 pm. These three Muhurtas are considered very auspicious for bathing, charity and worship of Lord Vishnu.

On this day, wake up early in the morning and take bath and if possible, take bath in a holy river. After this, worship Lord Vishnu and offer him yellow flowers, Tulsi leaves, fruits and Panchamrit. Chanting Vishnu Sahasranama and Shri Hari Mantras is also considered very auspicious. It is considered auspicious to donate food, water, clothes, umbrella, barley, sattu and money to needy people on the day of full moon. Donating water and fan has also been given special importance in the summer season.
