The ongoing feud between Malayalam film producers Listin Stephen and Sandra Thomas has taken a legal turn.
As reported by Mathrubhumi, Listin has filed a defamation suit seeking Rs 2 crore .The complaint accused Sandra Thomas of making damaging statements on social media again Listin. The complaint was filed at the Ernakulam Magistrate Court.
The dispute escalated after Listin shared a cryptic comment during an event criticizing a prominent actor in the Malayalam industry. Though he didn’t name anyone, Sandra responded directly on social media, accusing him of harming the industry for personal gain.

In her strongly worded social media post, Sandra alleged that Listin was acting on behalf of a “loan shark from Tamil Nadu” and accused him of betraying Malayalam cinema . She added that his vague accusations cast a shadow over numerous actors and were both irresponsible and damaging to the industry’s image.

In response to the defamation case, Sandra has refused to backtrack. Speaking to the Reporter channel, she said, “What I said about Listin Stephen’s betrayal of Malayalam cinema is the truth. I stand by every word.”
She also made a sharp remark that if the anti-illegal lending initiative Operation Kubera were still active, Listin would be “behind bars by now.”
