Bengaluru: Tariq Premji, the founder of the country’s leading IT company ‘Wipro Ltd’ and younger son of billionaire Azim Premji, has made a big real estate deal. It is reported that Tariq has bought a very luxurious penthouse worth ₹ 45.71 crore in the heart of Silicon City Bengaluru. The deal has been revealed by property registration documents, which have been issued by real estate data analytics firm ‘Zapkey’.
This ultra-luxury duplex apartment is in the premium residential complex ’27 Summit’ in Sampangiramnagar, Bengaluru. This project has been built by Nestled Haven Developers LLP, a subsidiary of Bengaluru-based company Maya Estates (MAIA Estates).
Price of ₹43,123 per square foot, 11 car parking too!
The registration papers reveal that this luxurious duplex apartment has a carpet area of 7,065 square feet and a super built-up area of 10,602 square feet. If we look at the super built-up area, the price of this property is around ₹ 43,123 per square foot. This deal is not limited to penthouses only. Along with this, Tariq Premji has also got 11 car parking spaces in the basement and an undivided share of 2,952 square feet in the total land of the building.
According to Sandeep Reddy, co-founder of Zapkey, this is one of the biggest residential property deals in Bengaluru this year. However, no official statement has come yet from Maya Estates or Tariq Premji regarding this.
Craze for ‘Villa in the Sky’ increases in Bengaluru

Who is Tariq Premji?
Tariq Premji is the younger son of Azim Premji and is currently associated with the family office ‘Premji Invest’. This investment firm manages a large portfolio of technology, healthcare, consumer products, financial services and new startups. Premji Invest has funded many big startups in India.
Tariq has done his graduation (B.Com) in Commerce from the famous St. Joseph’s College, Bengaluru. In 2018, he was appointed as a director on the board of ‘Wipro Enterprises’. Apart from this, he is also actively involved in ‘Azim Premji Foundation’, which is known for its education and social development works.
