Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi reached his parliamentary constituency Rae Bareli on Tuesday. Here he visited and worshiped at the famous Churuva Hanuman temple located in Bachhrawan. Rahul Gandhi was seen with full devotion during the puja in the temple. Here he first performed the Aarti of Hanuman ji and then took part in distributing Prasad among the devotees. In the viral pictures, Akhilesh Yadav is seen distributing Prasad of Puri, Vegetable and Bundi.
Not only this, he also accepted Prasad while sitting on the ground with the common people. Special enthusiasm was seen among his supporters regarding his style. Many users on social media called it “politics of reaching out among the public”, while some people linked it to the upcoming elections.
Religious activism increased during election season
Political analysts believe that the importance of religious and cultural events is continuously increasing in the politics of Uttar Pradesh.
