Large announcement of Indian Railways, now the rules of Tatkal will also be applicable to reservation tickets

Now the railway is going to make a big change to stop this rigging. Now the booking of Indial Railway Reservation Ticket is going to implement only those rules, which is currently applicable on Tatkal tickets. This rule is coming into effect from 1 October. This big change happened

Indian Railways will be able to book tickets for 15 minutes before opening the reservation window from October 1, who have already been verified Aadhaar. This rule will be applicable on both IRCT website and mobile app. Till now this rule was applicable only for Tatkal tickets, now the Railways is going to expand it. An official statement said that the move aims to ensure that the benefits of the reservation system reach the real users and prevent misuse by unauthorized or dishonest agents. Also, it has been said that the new rule will be applicable on online booking especially through the website of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and its mobile app.

The system will be stronger

The statement said that the current ban on booking tickets from booking tickets during the first 10 minutes of the first day’s reservation will continue. Booking time and process will be unaffected through computerized reservation system (PRS) counters. It has been further said in the statement that this step will strengthen the online ticketing atmosphere and also reduce fraud booking. It has been said by the Railways that to implement this necessary change, instructions have been issued to the Center for Railway Information System IRCTC to make technical changes. Along with this, zonal railway officials have also been instructed to issue guidelines and ensure compliance of the rules.
