Who is Vikram Chatwal
According to Bollywoodshaadi.com, Vikram Chatwal is a hotelier from America, of Indian descent. He was born in Ethiopia, on November 1, 1971. Later in the 1970s, he shifted to Canada, and then in the 1980s, he moved to New York.
Reportedly, his father, Sant Chatwal, invested in fine dining hotels, and later, their chain of restaurants became the major source of their massive empire. Vikram took over the reins of his family business in 1999. Before doing that, he tried his hand at modeling, film production, and even acting.

He became the first Sikh model to feature in a famous American magazine. After taking over the family business, his success earned him the title of most eligible bachelor by BBC’s Radar.

Vikram played the role of a gay husband to Sandhya Mridul ‘s character Madhu in the film titled ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’. The multi-starrer was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Reema Kagti and was released in theatres on February 23, 2007.
Controversies and personal struggles
Reportedly, Vikram got arrested at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for possessing an illegal substance while boarding a plane. However, the charges were later dropped.
