In the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, a five-year MoU was signed between Madhya Pradesh Health Department and Sevankur Bharat. Its objective is to produce service-oriented doctors and strengthen the humanitarian approach in health services.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that treating patients is not just a profession but the most important medium of human service. He said that the country and society need such doctors who have a spirit of service and sensitivity towards patients.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) program organized at Samatva Bhawan, Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. During this, he said that people working in the medical field should not only adopt professional efficiency but also adopt a sense of social responsibility and service.
MP Government Health Department MoU: Agreement signed between Health Department and Sevankur Bharat
In the program, in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, MoU was signed between the Health Department of Madhya Pradesh Government and Sevankur Bharat, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Medical Foundation, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra). This agreement has been made for five years. Its main objective is to make Madhya Pradesh a model state of service-based health leadership.
Focus will be on preparing service-oriented doctors
Under this MoU, a target has been set to create a new generation of such doctors, who will not only be medical experts but also become inspiring personalities who bring positive changes in the society. The agreement is based on the concept of experience based learning and value based leadership development. It aims to promote the spirit of “learning through service”.
Ek Saptah Desh Ke Naam Program: 300 participants will get special training
“One week in the name of the country” program will be organized under the MoU. In this program, about 300 participants will be given special training in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. After the training, experience sharing sessions and personality development camps will also be organized for the participants, so as to strengthen service based health leadership. Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Varnwal and many officials of Sevankur Bharat Project were also present in the program.
Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Medical Foundation: Has provided service to 70 lakh patients
It is noteworthy that Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Medical Foundation was established in the year 1989 by dedicated doctors for the purpose of social service. Over the last three decades, the organization has provided affordable, quality and sensitive medical services to more than 70 lakh needy and underprivileged patients. The main center of the institution is Dr. Dr. Hedgewar Hospital, operated under Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan, is known for service, simplicity and excellent medical services.
Advanced Healthcare Services: Social services along with modern health facilities
Presently the establishment is running 46 integrated projects across the country. These include multi-specialty hospitals, medical, nursing and physiotherapy colleges at Sambhajinagar, Nashik and Sivasagar (Assam). The organization is also operating Asia’s leading modern blood bank. Apart from this, state-of-the-art facilities like heart surgery, IVF, newborn care, MRI and cath lab are also available.
Active role in women and child development programs also
The organization is not limited to medical services only, but is also actively working in women and child development, vaccination campaigns, rural health and public health awareness programs. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that such efforts will be made on a larger scale in the future to strengthen the service-based health system in Madhya Pradesh.
