Lahaul Valley of Himachal Pradesh connects Norway to India in another respect. Lahaul, situated in front of Rohtang and Atal Tunnel Corridor, is like a cold desert. It is identified by wide plains, mountains and far-flung settlements.
In winter, the lower part of the valley is covered with snow and Chinar trees enhance the beauty under the open sky.
