7th Pay Commission will be implemented in Bengal
The 7th Pay Commission will soon be implemented in West Bengal, which will increase the salary of government employees. There is news of great relief for the government employees of West Bengal. Finally, approval has been received to implement the Seventh Pay Commission in the state. BJP had promised this in its proposal and now it has also been approved in the state cabinet meeting.
Apart from this, the West Bengal government has stopped all religious ex-gratia grants as per the cabinet decision. All ex-gratia grants under the I&CA department have also been stopped by the West Bengal government. The OBC list of the state government prepared by the previous government is now under scrutiny and will be re-evaluated.
Women Rs 3,000 every month
State Women and Child Development Minister Agnimitra Paul gave information about many major decisions in the press conference. He told that the cabinet has approved the Annapurna scheme. Through this scheme, women will get Rs 3,000 every month from June 1. Besides, from June 1, women of the state will also be given the facility of free travel in buses. The government says that a large number of women will benefit from this decision.
There was demand for a long time
The demand for implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission was being raised by employee organizations for a long time. Now after getting the approval from the government, there is a big increase in the salary of the employees. According to the rules, the salary structure of government employees is changed every 10 years. In such a situation, lakhs of employees and teachers of the state will directly benefit from the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission. Under the new pay scale, increase in salary, allowances and other facilities is also considered possible.
