There was a tremendous growth in the film’s earnings on the second day, which clearly shows that its craze is increasing rapidly among the audience. Big jump in second day earnings of ‘Karuppu’
According to the latest report of Sacnilk.com, ‘Karuppu’ collected Rs 23.35 crore on the second day of its release. The film had earned Rs 15.50 crore on the first day. According to this, there has been a growth of about 51 percent in the second day’s earnings. The total gross collection of the film in India has reached Rs 45.04 crore and net collection has reached Rs 38.90 crore. This jump in the film’s earnings on the second day clearly shows that there is a tremendous positive atmosphere among the audience regarding the film.

‘Karuppu’ is also running in overseas market
‘Karuppu’ is not only earning money in India, but is also printing money in the overseas market. On the first day, the film had earned a gross of Rs 11 crore in foreign countries and on the second day, its gross earning there was Rs 10 crore. With this, the worldwide collection gross of ‘Karuppu’ has reached Rs 66.04 crore. It is believed that on the third day the film will cross the net earning of Rs 50 crore in India and will reach close to the earning of Rs 100 crore worldwide.
Surya thanked the fans and team
On Saturday evening, Surya shared a video on X and expressed his gratitude to the fans and the film team. He wrote, “The credit for the love, name and respect we are getting from all over the world goes to the entire #Karuppu team who believed in this film and worked hard.” He further tagged the producers and the technical team and wrote, “Thank you for giving full support to our film. You worked day and night to make this film special.” Suriya wrote for the music director, “Sai! I have no words to thank you. You are the backbone of the atmosphere and celebration that this film is seeing in the theatres.” For director RJ Balaji, Suriya said, “You promised me a blockbuster and you won everyone’s love. Salute to your thinking and hard work.”

In Karuppu, Surya is seen in the role of a fighter who knows how to win battles even in the court. His character in the film is that of a lawyer. The film is directed by RJ Balaji. Its story and screenplay have been co-written by Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, TS Gopi Krishnan and Karan Arvind Kumar. Apart from Surya and Trisha Krishnan, the film also stars Swasika, Indrans, Yogi Babu, Shivada, Natty Subramaniam and Supreeth Reddy in important roles.
