WWE Wrestlepalooza, the next premium live event, will take place on September 20. It will be WWE’s first PLE on the new platform and WWE is leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand event.
AJ Lee, Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes will make their in-ring returns during the PLE. A week before the show, here we have a look at the updated match card of WWE Wrestlepalooza –
Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre: WWE added another match to the Wrestlepalooza card on last week’s Smackdown and announced that Cody Rhodes would defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. Cody made his return on the show and saved Randy Orton. He had been away from WWE since Smackdown after SummerSlam.
Brock Lesnar vs John Cena: Lesnar will make his in-ring return against Cena in a one-on-one match. This match will be the main event despite not title being involved. Lesnar has been away from WWE action since SummerSlam 2023, where he lost to Cody.
CM Punk and AJ Lee vs Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch: Punk will team up with his wife, AJ Lee, against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Rollins and Becky are married in real life. Lee made her WWE return a couple of weeks back after being away from the company for more than 10 years.
The Usos vs The Vision: Jey and Jimmy Uso will reunite for a match against the team of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. The Usos haven’t teamed up for a long time now. The team of Reed and Breakker lost against Roman Reigns and Jey at SummerSlam.
IYO Sky vs Stephanie Vaquer: IYO and Vaquer will lock horns for the vacant Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza. The title was previously held by Noami, who cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase at Evolution 2. She recently relinquished the title.
