In the enlightened dialogue program organized in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appealed to the enlightened people to make the youth aware of the difference between old and new Uttar Pradesh. They discussed development, security, employment and changes taken under the leadership of PM Modi.
Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appealed to the enlightened section of the society to make the youth aware about the past situation and current changes in Uttar Pradesh. He said that it is important to explain to the new generation what was the situation in the state 9-10 years ago and how an environment of development, security and good governance has been created today.
The Chief Minister was addressing the ‘Prabuddha Samvad’ program organized in Raptinagar, Gorakhpur on Friday. The program started with offering flowers on the portraits of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and collective singing of Vande Mataram.
Appeal to save youth from anarchy and appeasement politics
CM Yogi said that if the youth are not informed about the real situation of the old era, then they will not be able to understand what is the result of appeasement and chaos. He said that at one time the state was affected by riots, curfew, hooliganism and corruption. The Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of the enlightened people of the society to save the youth from being misguided and show them the right direction. He said that playing with the future of the youth for momentary political gains is against the national interest.
Before 2017, the situation of security and development in UP was bad.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before 2017, the identity of Uttar Pradesh was associated with riots, curfew, chaos and corruption. Parents were worried about protecting their children from diseases like encephalitis. He said that the youth were facing employment and identity crisis. Farmers were deprived of facilities, traders were forced to pay goonda tax and the safety of daughters was also a big concern.
Environment of development and employment in Uttar Pradesh today
CM Yogi said that at present Uttar Pradesh is moving rapidly in the direction of development, security and employment. He said that today both daughters and businessmen are feeling safe. He said that encephalitis has been controlled in Gorakhpur, the closed fertilizer factory has reopened and a big health facility like AIIMS has become available. Apart from this, four-lane roads and big development projects have provided employment to the youth of Purvanchal.
India’s global identity strengthened under the leadership of PM Modi
The Chief Minister said that India’s global prestige has increased under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Praising India’s management during the Corona epidemic, he said that despite limited resources, India did a better job than many developed countries of the world. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has become an inspiration for the world today.
Emphasis given on fuel saving and use of solar energy
CM Yogi said that due to the ongoing tension in West Asia, there is a situation of fuel crisis at the global level. He said that everyone should follow Prime Minister Modi’s appeal to save fuel, reduce foreign travel and stop unnecessary expenditure. The Chief Minister urged people to adopt alternatives like solar energy, public transport, electric vehicles and car pooling.
Expressed happiness over BJP’s success in West Bengal
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there is an atmosphere of happiness in the entire country due to the lotus blooming in West Bengal. He said that now a new environment of security and development is being created there. He said that even if people are from different states, everyone should have the feeling of the country being supreme.
India is identified with knowledge and culture
The Chief Minister said that India has always respected its enlightened society and knowledge tradition. He said that every Indian is connected to some sage tradition and this is the specialty of Indian culture. Referring to the ideals of Lord Shri Ram, he said that respect for motherland and culture is an important part of Indian values of life.

In the program, MP Ravikishan Shukla said that national interest is paramount for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He appreciated the Chief Minister’s decision to shorten his convoy to save fuel.

BJP State Vice President and MLC Dr. Dharmendra Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a new model of development and good governance has been established in Uttar Pradesh. He said that the changes that have taken place in Gorakhpur and the entire state are historical. Mayor Dr. Manglesh Srivastava, MLA Vipin Singh, Regional President Sahajanand Rai and many public representatives, doctors, educationists and social workers were present in the program.
