Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Jai Gurudev Ashram in Ujjain and took blessings from Gurudev Umakant Maharaj. He reiterated the government’s commitment towards Sanatan Dharma, public service, cowshed protection and prohibition of liquor in religious towns.
Bhopal/Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Jai Gurudev Ashram located on Ujjain Maxi Road, where he met Gurudev Umakant Maharaj and took his blessings. During this, the Chief Minister also listened to the nectar discourse of Gurudev.
Gurudev Umakant Maharaj blessed Chief Minister Mohan Yadav
Gurudev Umakant Maharaj, while blessing Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, said that he has been continuously visiting the Ashram for many years. Even after becoming the Chief Minister, it is commendable that he reached the ashram with devotion during the busy time. Gurudev said that earlier they used to call him “Mohan Pyare” and today he has become dear to the public through his actions. He blessed the Chief Minister to continue serving the society by following the path of truth, eternal life and non-violence.
CM Mohan Yadav said- ‘God is experienced by seeing Guruvar’
On the instructions of Gurudev, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the followers from the stage. He said that Baba Gurudev’s arrival in Ujjain is a matter of good fortune for everyone. The Chief Minister said that on seeing Guruvar, one feels as if one has seen God himself. He said that Jai Gurudev Ashram is the house of God and the blessings of Gurudev inspire us to do truth and good deeds in life. With the guidance of Guru one gets the right direction of life.
Chief Minister’s emphasis on Sanatan Dharma and spirit of service
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that everyone should always get the blessings of Gurudev and everyone should live life with happiness. He said that in Sanatan Dharma, human life is attained after 84 lakh births and the way to live this life in the right way is found from saints and gurus. The Chief Minister said that not only the state but devotees from different parts of the country are joining the path of devotion through Jai Gurudev Ashram. He said that it is only with the blessings of Gurudev that he is able to serve the people of the state with dedication.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav spoke on cowshed protection and liquor ban
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that with the grace of Gurudev, the work of construction and conservation of cow shelters is being done continuously in the state. He said that liquor ban has been implemented in many religious cities including Ujjain. The Chief Minister said that the decision to ban liquor has been taken in 19 religious towns of the state including Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Datia, Pitambara Peeth, Salkanpur, Orchha and Chitrakoot. He described it as the result of Gurudev’s inspiration and blessings.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that by 2028, Ujjain will be developed as a metro city as well as a spiritual and cultural city. He said that Ujjain has now become not only a religious city but also a city of festivals. The Chief Minister said that with the inspiration of Gurudev, Geeta Bhavans are being built in every district of the state, where the teachings of Lord Krishna will be studied and spiritual activities will be conducted. Besides, the government is also doing the work of promoting cow rearing and providing financial assistance to cow rearing families.
