This place is situated in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand at an altitude of about 3,352 meters to 3,658 meters (about 11,000 to more than 12,000 feet) above sea level.

How to reach Valley of Flowers from Delhi?
To reach Valley of Flowers from Delhi, you will first have to reach Haridwar or Rishikesh. After this you have to take a share taxi from there to reach Govind Ghat. If you want, you can also go on bike rent, where you will get to see beautiful mountains and waterfalls on the way. After reaching Govind Ghat, you have to go to Pulna village, where you will get a private taxi to go. After reaching here you will have to trek 10 kilometers to reach Ghangharia. You can also stay here for one night. Where hotels and home stays are available at low prices. Next day, wake up early in the morning and trek 4 kilometers to reach Valley of Flowers, seeing which you will feel as if heaven has come down to earth.
