Motorola has launched its first book-style foldable phone, the Razr Fold, in India. Its price starts from ₹ 1,49,999. It features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, an 8.1″ 2K display, a 50MP triple camera, and a 6000 mAh battery with 80W charging.
New Delhi: Lenovo’s company Motorola has launched its first book-style foldable smartphone in India. This phone named Motorola Razr Fold is expected to make the competition tougher in the premium segment. This phone was launched globally at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona in March and now it is also available for Indian customers.
Motorola Razr Fold: Price and storage variants
The base model of Motorola Razr Fold i.e. the variant with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is priced at Rs 1,49,999. At the same time, the price of the variant with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage is Rs 1,59,999. The company has also launched a special FIFA World Cup 2026 Edition, which is priced at Rs 1,69,999. Customers will also get a bank discount and exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. Apart from this, no-cost EMI facility of up to 18 months is also being provided. Those who buy this phone till June 20, will also get the facility of free screen replacement for one year.
Specifications of Motorola Razr Fold
The biggest attraction of this phone is its 8.1 inch 2K LTPO pOLED inner display. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6200 nits. On the outside, there is a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset has been provided for performance in the phone. It has up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage. This phone runs on My UX operating system based on Android 16. Motorola has promised that the phone will get Android updates and security updates for seven years.
Great camera features
This phone is also quite powerful in terms of camera. Three 50-megapixel cameras are provided in its rear. These include a main camera with a Sony LYTIA sensor, a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an ultrawide camera. For selfie, the phone has a 32-megapixel cover camera and 20-megapixel inner selfie camera. This phone also supports 8K video recording.
To power the phone, it has a 6000 mAh battery, which supports 80 W wired fast charging and 50 W wireless charging. The new Motorola Razr Fold is available in Pantone Blacked Blue and Pantone Lily White colors. It can be purchased from Flipkart and select Motorola retail stores across the country.
