He completely rejected the rumors which were claiming that Shefali Jariwala was taking injections for fairness or to look younger.

TV actor Parag Tyagi has broken his silence for the first time after the sudden death of his wife and ‘Kaanta Laga’ girl Shefali Jariwala. Responding to the rumors on social media related to injections, diet and fitness, Parag clearly said that Shefali was very fit and did not need any fairness or anti-aging injections. He said in an emotional tone that Shefali’s death was destined and now he has accepted this truth. He also appealed to the people to stop spreading rumours.

Parag Tyagi angry over injection claims

Parag Tyagi, in an interview to Filmgyan, rejected the claims that Shefali Jariwala had fallen ill due to some injection or strict diet. He said, “We eat everything. We even ate Chinese a day before Shefali’s death. Why do we need to remain hungry?” According to Parag, “She was the most fit in her entire life at this time. Being hungry makes the face wither.” Parag also raised questions on fairness and injections to make one look younger and said, “What was the need for him to become fairer? Please tell me also which is the injection which keeps him young. If it was so then Ratan Tata ji would also be alive.”

Parag Tyagi said – Our souls will always be connected

Parag Tyagi said that now he has accepted Shefali’s death. He said emotionally, “Even though we were together for a limited time in this world, our souls will always be connected.” He requested people not to spread rumours, saying, “Friends, don’t do it, friend.” Parag also told that his pet dog Simba gave him emotional support in difficult times. “Her presence and her touch mean a lot emotionally,” he says. However, he also made it clear that he did not consider Simba only as a means of healing.

Shefali Jariwala died due to cardiac arrest

42 year old Shefali Jariwala died suddenly on 27 June 2025 in Mumbai. It was told that he had suffered a cardiac arrest. Although there was no information about any serious illness, Shefali had suffered from epilepsy in her adolescence. He had told in an earlier interview that he had his first seizure at the age of 15. After this, he underwent treatment for a long time and kept his lifestyle balanced through yoga, fitness and medicines.
