Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited Purnia district of Bihar and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of Rs 36,000 crore important projects for regional development. Which includes several schemes including Purnia Airport and Makhana Board.
Purnia Before the Bihar assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a big message of development in Purnia district of Bihar on Sunday. Inaugurating and founding the projects worth about Rs 36,000 crore, he took new steps towards the development of the entire region including Seemanchal. At the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister said, “As long as every poor will not get a house, Modi is not going to stop and stop. Our government has given more than 4 crore pucca houses to the poor in the last 11 years and we are working to build 3 crore new houses. It is a guarantee of Modi that every poor will reach home.”
Modi inaugurated Purnia Airport
Prime Minister Modi inaugurated Purnia Airport, which has become the second largest airport in eastern India after Kolkata. The 2,800 meter long runway is suitable for the operation of large aircraft, while the terminal building spread over 4,000 square meters is equipped with state -of -the -art facilities. He said, “Projects related to rail, electricity, water and air services have been inaugurated here today. These projects will become a medium to fulfill the dreams of Seemanchal and open new opportunities for employment and business for the youth of the region.”
The Prime Minister further said, “Today more than 40,000 beneficiaries have got a pucca house under the PM Awas Yojana. These houses will not only give a roof, but will bring new hope and respect in every family’s life. This is the beginning of happiness in their lives during festivals.”
Attackers on opposition
During this, he also attacked the opposition. He said, “Development of Bihar is necessary for the development of the country. The development of Purnia and Seemanchal is necessary for the development of Bihar. The previous governments made the region backward with misrule, but now the NDA government is changing the situation.”
In the program, the Prime Minister also informed that the airport’s terminal building was prepared in record time with the hard work and skills of the engineers. He said, “This terminal is not just a building, but the foundation for the development of the region. We completed it in less than five months and today it started the first commercial flight and started it.”
Vande India showed the green signal
Along with this, the Prime Minister also indicated improvement in rail service by flagging the Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains. He said, “The NDA government is connecting the region with modern hi -tech rail services. The new rail lines and trains assure people of fast, safe and convenient travel.”
During this, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appreciated PM Modi and said that under his leadership, Bihar is developing rapidly and people of the area will benefit from Purnia Airport in education, business and employment.
