Chief Minister Mohan Yadav released the 36th installment of Ladli Brahmin Yojana in Narsinghpur and transferred Rs 1835 crore to the accounts of 1.25 crore women. Also inaugurated development works worth Rs 296 crore and made many big announcements.

Bhopal/Narsinghpur. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav released the 36th installment of ‘Mukhyamantri Laadli Behna Yojana’ on May 13. During the program organized at Mungwani in Narsinghpur district, he transferred Rs 1,835 crore 67 lakh 29 thousand 250 through a single click to the bank accounts of 1 crore 25 lakh 22 thousand 542 beloved sisters of the state.

During this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 40 development works costing more than Rs 296 crore. The program started with showering of flowers on the girls. The Chief Minister took in his lap a child who was performing tricks with a stick and caressed it and also swung the stick himself. After worshiping the cow, he visited the exhibitions of various departments.

The Chief Minister also released a calendar based on the cultural and historical heritage of Narsinghpur district. Also distributed benefits to various beneficiaries and provided laptops and citations to meritorious students of the district. During the program, he said that seeing the progress of Narsinghpur district, it seems as if it is unnoticed by anyone.

CM Mohan Yadav spoke on Ladli Brahmin Yojana and respect for women

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the identity of Narsinghpur district, named after Lord Narsingh, is different in the entire state. He said that Ladli Brahmin Yojana is not just a financial aid but also a scheme to honor mothers and sisters.

Taking aim at the opposition, he said that some people said that this scheme would last only till the elections, but the government has kept its promises. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is continuously getting stronger under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while the Congress is becoming weaker across the country.

The Chief Minister said that his government gives top priority to the respect of mothers and sisters and that is why till now an amount of thousands of crores of rupees has been deposited in the accounts of the beloved sisters.

Bengal, women’s reservation and opposition targeted

In the program, the Chief Minister said that whatever his party says, it fulfills it. Referring to the politics of West Bengal, he said that the public keeps everyone accountable. He said that Prime Minister Modi had talked about giving 33 percent reservation to women in Parliament, but the opposition parties opposed it. The Chief Minister claimed that women responded in the elections and the opposition faced defeat. Accusing Congress of insulting women, he said that the public gives results of such politics in elections.

Government schemes and employment opportunities for women

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that his government is not only providing assistance to women, but is also providing them leadership and employment opportunities. He said that a large number of women have been given responsibility on positions like MP, MLA and Minister. Besides, lakhs of women have been linked to self-employment and agriculture-based activities.

The Chief Minister said that the government is promoting women in animal husbandry and dairy sector. If a woman starts a dairy scheme with 25 cows, the government will give a subsidy of up to Rs 10 lakh. He also said that now women are not limited to only sewing and embroidery, but are also progressing in computer, AI and other modern fields. Women are being given 33 percent reservation in the police department.

Big things from the government regarding farmers, irrigation and employment

Describing Narsinghpur as a ‘sugar bowl’, the Chief Minister said that the farmers here have provided employment to thousands of people. He said that Toor Dal of Narsinghpur has gained recognition in the entire state and wheat and soybean production of the district is also leading in the state. He assured the farmers that the government will buy every grain of theirs. Also announced a bonus of Rs 600 on the urad crop. The Chief Minister said that the state government is among the governments that purchase the most wheat in the country and is continuously working to increase the income of farmers.

Government’s focus on drug prohibition, water conservation and road accidents

The Chief Minister said that the government is running a campaign against drugs and prohibition has been implemented in 19 districts of the state. Appealing to the people to save water, he said that special work is being done on water conservation through Jal Ganga Augmentation Campaign. He said that the government will provide assistance of Rs 25,000 to those who help people injured in road accidents. Besides, the injured person will also be given free treatment up to Rs 1.5 lakh. The Chief Minister also said that on the request of Prime Minister Modi, he has reduced the number of vehicles in his convoy and ministers have also been asked to do the same so that fuel can be saved.

Development work worth Rs 296 crore and gift of 7 new bridges in Narsinghpur

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Narsinghpur district has been awarded 40 development works costing Rs 296 crore 40 lakh. These include bhoomi-pujan of 17 development works and inauguration of 23 works. He informed that new bridges will be built on 7 rivers including Narmada River. A new bridge will also be constructed on the Narmada river. Apart from this, railway overbridge and 100 bed hospital near NTPC area were also inaugurated. Many areas are also getting benefits under the tap water scheme.

Appreciation of the family that donated land for the construction of the pond

The Chief Minister praised the family of Gotegaon area which has donated 21 acres of land for the construction of the pond. He said that such a charitable family will be publicly honored in Bhopal. He said that society’s participation is necessary for water conservation and the state government is continuously running a campaign in this direction.
