Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has made a big attack on Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress on the NEET paper leak issue. He said that Congress is shamelessly using students and all this is a political drama.
New Delhi: The demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has intensified over the allegations of paper leak in NEET exam. Meanwhile, Dharmendra Pradhan has launched a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi and Congress are shamelessly using students as their political weapon. Pradhan said that his attempt is to disrupt the Parliament session.
Dharmendra Pradhan said, “The government has clearly said that we are ready to discuss this in detail, but despite this, Congress chose political drama instead of democratic debate.”
He further said that the dharna organized outside the Prime Minister’s residence under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi caused problems to the common people and security rules were also ignored. According to Pradhan, the aim of Congress was not to solve the problems of the students, but to garner political headlines. “Even when all avenues of dialogue were open, confrontation was deliberately created,” he said.
The Education Minister appealed that students should not be made a medium for political propaganda. He said, “The government is 100 per cent committed to discussing the NEET exam and addressing all the legitimate concerns of our youth in the House. Students want determination instead of anarchy, solutions instead of slogans and responsibility instead of obstruction. We have a huge responsibility towards the students.”
BJP national president Nitin Nabin also targeted Rahul Gandhi on this matter. He said that Rahul Gandhi has become a symbol of anarchy. Criticizing Nitin Nabin, he said that Rahul’s current actions are against the dignity of a constitutional post like leader of the opposition. He said, “The central government is always ready for open discussion on any issue arising in Parliament, including the NEET leak. But Rahul Gandhi’s style of creating chaotic protests even before the discussion is creating unrest in the country.”
