Here a person not only got his thirteenth ceremony done while alive, but also organized Pind Daan and a feast for the entire village as per the rituals. The discussion about this unique incident has now moved from the streets of the village to social media. The reason behind this whole matter is even more shocking. This middle-aged man says that he does not want to go through life owing anyone any debt or favor. Due to this thinking, he got the rituals related to the last rites completed while he was still alive.

This unique case is being reported from Pithanhar village of Fatehpur Chaurasi police station area of Unnao district. Ravindra Prasad, 56, a resident of the village, sent invitations to his thirteenth party on May 8 to the entire village. When people saw the condolence message card, no one could believe it at first. The thirteenth feast and Pind Daan program were mentioned in the card. The people of the village were surprised that the person to whom the thirteenth party invitation was being given was inviting the people himself.

Shraddha rituals were performed by calling a Pandit.
On May 9, Shraddha was performed in the village with full customs and religious rituals. Pundits were called, puja was performed and the ritual of Pind Daan was also performed. After this a feast was organized for the villagers. According to the local people, they had never seen such a scene before. People were seen discussing various things regarding this incident.
Ravindra has been living separated from his family for 40 years.
It is being told that Ravindra Prasad has been living away from his family for a long time. He has not even married and has been living alone for the last 40 years. Ravindra says that he did not want to be a burden on anyone in life. This is the reason why he decided to fulfill the responsibilities related to his funeral himself.

Ravindra Prasad said that he has taken this decision after careful consideration. According to him, “I got my thirteenth done while I was alive so that after my death I would not have any debt or favor to anyone. I have been away from my family for 40 years. I want that no one should have to suffer because of me.” Hearing this from him, many people of the village appeared emotional, while some people are calling it a very unique and surprising step.
