Free Health Checkups for Women: Special clinics for women are starting in all government health centers in Kerala. Health Minister Veena George will inaugurate it on 16 September. These clinics will run every Tuesday.
Kerala women health initiative: For the first time in the country, 5415 women special clinics are starting in all government health centers in the state. The state -level inauguration of these clinics will be done at 3 pm on September 16 at the Health Minister Veena George at the Pallithura Government Health Center in Thiruvananthapuram. Along with the inauguration, a special camp will also be organized at Pallithura Government Health Center from 9 am on Tuesday morning.
Veena George said that vigorous efforts are being made to reduce people’s diseases and ensure health for all through government health centers. Government health centers are working in rural and urban areas at a population of every 5000. These centers have become hospitals near the house. Through these centers, women clinics are being started to provide clinics, check camps, and expert services for women and children.
Women’s clinics will run every Tuesday. These clinics will help in detecting many health problems like anemia, diabetes, blood pressure, cancer check. Apart from this, special testing camps for women and specialist checks and awareness programs will also be conducted in family health centers. The minister appealed to more and more women to come to these clinics and conduct health checkups.
