Rahul alleged that the PM wants to impose responsibility for the failures of his government on the public. He said that giving advice like what to buy and where not to go is an attempt to hide one’s mistakes.

It is reported that different ministries will discuss Modi’s self-control suggestions. More steps will be taken to spread awareness about this. BJP ruled state governments will also adopt these suggestions. At present no partial lockdown of any kind is being considered. Prime Minister Modi has made this appeal in view of the ongoing tension in West Asia.

PM Modi had made several appeals to the people yesterday. He had said to control oneself like during the time of Covid. Minimize use of petrol and diesel. Work from home should be encouraged. Postpone foreign trips to save foreign exchange reserves. Adopt methods like carpooling. Dependence on fuel imports should be reduced. In cities where there is metro, people should use it. Also asked to reduce the use of edible oil by 10 percent.
