Aamir says, “When ‘Taare Zameen Par’ came to me, people asked who would watch a film based on dyslexia and a child?” He was also scared about ‘Lagaan’, because its story was completely different for Hindi cinema.

During the conversation, Zakir Khan asked, “Do you take decisions from your heart or based on money?” To this Aamir replied, “I am not a businessman… When I started my company, I did not think that this idea was good and that money would be made on it. I thought that I like this story and I have to make it. Let’s see what happens. If the money breaks, it will break.” After this he said that Saraswati i.e. creativity should be important in films. According to Aamir, “I strongly believe that when we work in cinema, we have to worship Saraswati, not Lakshmi. When you are in business, Lakshmi is very important for you, but in the creative field of this industry, if you think about Lakshmi then you will be wrong. This is my belief. You worship Saraswati. Make a film with dedication and devotion… Lakshmi will come with it.
