Purity of mind is important
Premanand Maharaj said, ‘Many people undertake religious pilgrimages, but their minds remain entangled in worldly desires. In such a situation, one cannot get the full benefit of the journey. He explained that along with seeing God, purity of mind is also important. Without this, going on pilgrimage or worshiping God is useless.
How will you get true peace?
Premanand Maharaj further said, ‘True devotion does not just mean going to the temple, but also bringing changes in one’s behaviour. If a person has a feeling of love, kindness and service towards others then he can get true peace in life. Devotion to God can be achieved by adopting these qualities. These three things must be kept in mind before undertaking a pilgrimage.
