The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 concluded on a high note with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) winning their maiden IPL title after 18 years.
But one of the biggest positives for RCB is that now it has becomes the most valuable IPL franchise according to the latest study by Houlihan Lokey. Infact, IPL’s brand value jumped from 13.8% to $3.9 billion which is approx. INR 32,721 crores which is due to the record breaking viewership, ad revenues and many other aspects.
RCB brand value is now $269 million and it has taken a huge leap, in 2024 RCB’s brand value was $227 million.
RCB’s Maiden IPL Win
After years of disappointment, close calls, and die-hard support, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won their first IPL title in 2025 and they did it not only due to some superstars, but due to a genuine collective effort that meshed at every point of the tournament. This wasn’t just Virat Kohli’s redemption arc. It was a season defined by contributions from top to bottom, where each player had their moment, and the sum of those efforts crowned RCB as the most deserving champions of the season.
The team has shown incredible depth and winning spirit. One of the most important fact to note is the team effort this season, this year there are nine players who have won the Player of the match award. This rare achievement is a testament of RCB’s all-round performance in the season. These players are: Krunal Pandya, Rajat Patidar, Phil Salt, Tim David, Virat Kohli, Josh Hazlewood, Romario Shepherd, Jitesh Sharma and Suvyash Sharma.
