According to Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, after getting the airdrome security program approved by the Civil Aviation Security Department, the date of official flight operation has been fixed as June 15. The first flight will operate between Noida and Lucknow.

Indigo Airlines will start

In the initial phase, Indigo Airlines will start its services, after which other airlines like Akasa Air and Air India Express can also start flight services from here. It is being told that in the recent board meeting of Yamuna Authority, a proposal was made to operate flights to 17 cities. There is a rule to start ticket booking 30 days before the departure of the flight from the airport, so the sale of tickets is likely to start from this evening. Passengers will be able to book tickets through the airline’s official website, mobile app and authorized travel portal.

Airport will be identified by DXN code

Noida International Airport will be identified by DXN code. This code has been visible on online travel platforms and flight search engines for the last few months. Now with the start of ticket booking, this code will become more important for the passengers. In the first phase, the airport has been constructed in an area of ​​about 1334 hectares, which includes a 3900 meter long runway, modern terminal building, ATC tower and cargo hub. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the report on March 28.
