Renault Bridger
The production-ready Renault Bridger sub-4 meter SUV will hit the Indian market in 2027. It will be based on the brand’s RGMP platform and will be available in multiple powertrain options like petrol, CNG, hybrid and electric. It is expected that the petrol version of the SUV will get new 1.2-litre naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol engine options. At the same time, Bridger EV is expected to have 35 kWh and 55 kWh battery pack options.
Renault Duster Hybrid
Renault has confirmed that the Duster Hybrid will hit the market by Diwali 2026. It will get a 1.8-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine along with two electric motors (one generating 20 bhp and the other powering the wheels with 149 bhp) and a 1.4 kWh battery pack. This hybrid setup generates a total power of 160 bhp and torque of 172 Nm.
7-seater Renault Duster
Renault India is also planning to launch a 7-seater version of the Duster. Its design will be inspired by the Dacia Bigster and some styling elements will be taken from the Boreal, which will be sold in 71 markets including Brazil and Latin America. The 7-seater Renault Duster will also have the same engine, platform and features as its 5-seater model. Like the Boreal, it is expected to measure 4,556 mm in length, 1,841 mm in width and 1,650 mm in height. At the time of launch, this three-row Duster may be given a new name.
Renault Boreal
Renault is planning to launch a new three-row SUV named Boreal. This SUV will compete with vehicles like Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar and XUV 7XO. The Boreal’s platform and basic components will be shared with the Duster. It is expected that the 7-seater version will also get 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.8-litre strong hybrid petrol engines. The Boreal will have a tech-packed and comfortable cabin with features like panoramic sunroof, 10-inch screen, premium audio system and Level 2 ADAS. The company can launch it in the second half of this year.
