Tejashwi accused PM Modi’s Purnia rally of spending 100 crores, saying that it could have been done in development works. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has described it as an economic burden on the people of Bihar and described the need for investment in development works.
Patna: While living in Bihar during the election year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ODI tour in Purnia remains a topic of discussion. While the central government is making major announcements of development schemes, the opposition, especially Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, has made big allegations about the rallies of PM Modi. Tejashwi Yadav has publicly revealed that a PM Modi rally in Bihar costs up to Rs 100 crore. Such a huge amount is very heavy for poor and developing states like Bihar. So far, Prime Minister Modi has held more than 200 rally and public meetings in Bihar. This means that in the election year, the people of Bihar have a huge financial burden of about Rs 20,000 crore.
Where does this expenditure go?
Rally includes transportation and all other expenses to call people in greenery, stage construction, security, administrative arrangements, public meetings. Tejashwi Yadav has said that for such events, government employees, teachers and social workers are pressurized to stop the rally and gather in the rally.
Why is there opposition to Tejashwi?
In the opinion of Tejashwi Yadav, such a huge amount of money can create a boundary wall of schools in Bihar, toilets can be built for girls in schools, medicines and staff can be arranged in bad health centers, and playgrounds can be improved. According to him, the money spent on the rally should have been invested in development works, but instead it is being spent in political campaigning.
11 year old promise and question
Tejashwi questioned PM Modi that he remembers the promise given to give special status to Bihar from Purnia 11.5 years ago? He asked when this promise will be fulfilled and will the public still be given jumlas and false promises before the election?
Political and economic injury
Tejashwi Yadav also said that fake slogans like false propaganda and ‘Jungle Raj’ are raised to hide the 20 -year failure of the central and Bihar government, so that the real issues are away from the attention of the people. But the people of Bihar have now understood these things and they will not be deceived.

What did Tejashwi say?
Tejashwi Yadav posted on social media and said, ‘Prime Minister Modi ji, today, before the rain of jumlas in Purnia, please know the dilapidated rural roads, teacherless schools, poor health centers and inflation, poverty, unemployment and migration of women and youth. You must have seen the bad situation of Purnia’s medical college tomorrow. One of your rally gives a huge financial burden of 100 crores to a poor state like Bihar. You have held many rallies in Bihar. With such a huge amount of thousands of crores, a separate toilet could be constructed in the schools of Bihar schools, playgrounds and a separate toilet in the school, human resources and medicine could be managed in health centers. With your arrival, teaching from teachers is made and a conductor is made and government employees, Jeevika Didis, Asha-Mamta, Shiksha Mitra, Vikas Mitra and Anganwadi servants/assistants are given difficult targets and stress to bring crowds.
