Marriage Fraud Case Maharashtra: A big case of fraud in the name of marriage has come to light in Beed district of Maharashtra, where a woman is accused of extorting lakhs of rupees by marrying several young men. Police have started investigation and the entire racket is likely to be exposed.

Luteri Dulhan News: A case has come to light from Beed district of Maharashtra, which has raised questions on the foundation of trust and relationships in the rural society. Here, an organized gang of alleged fraud in the name of marriage has been accused of being active, in which a woman is accused of extorting lakhs of rupees by marrying several young men. This matter came to light when a youth from Umapur village lodged a complaint with the police claiming himself to be a victim of fraud.

Married for the ninth time? Victim claims, I also became a victim

According to the complainant, he was introduced to a girl through middlemen, who was said to be suitable for marriage. These agents allegedly arranged this relationship by taking huge amount and called it completely legal. But after some time of marriage, the young man came to know that the woman had married in a similar manner many times before. The victim claims that he could be the ninth victim of this alleged fraud. She alleged that she was lured into marriage under false promises and emotional pressure and then exploited financially.

Complaint in Chakalamba police station, also appealed to SP

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the victim has lodged a complaint at Chakalamba police station. Besides, he has also submitted an application to the District Superintendent of Police demanding strict action against this entire gang. The complaint also questions the role of the middlemen who were allegedly operating this network. The victim told that this entire incident has left him in deep mental trauma. He also said that due to this deception he was financially ruined and there came a time when he started having suicidal thoughts.

Police investigation started, gang links are being searched

Confirming the matter, the police said that the complaint has been received and investigation has been started. According to initial information, this may not be a single incident but an organized racket, which is active in rural areas. The police is now investigating how many people are involved in this network and how many people have become its victims so far.
