Playing for Durham in England’s domestic tournament ODI Cup 2026, Ben Stokes played a memorable century against Derbyshire and led his team to a spectacular victory. This was the first time in the last 12 years that Stokes had come on the field to play a domestic List-A match for Durham, this comeback was quite memorable for him.

Ben Stokes played a match-winning innings for the Durham team, which was chasing the target of 257 runs given by Derbyshire. Stokes, playing his first 50 over match after the 2023 World Cup, destroyed the Derbyshire bowlers and scored unbeaten 108 runs in 123 balls. His match-winning innings included 10 fours and 3 sixes. Due to which Durham team achieved this target in 49.1 overs at the loss of 5 wickets.

This is the 10th century of Ben Stokes’ overall List-A career. Along with this, this is also his first List-A century in Durham jersey since 2014.
