Sharp comment on Pappu Yadav
While going to Gopalganj, Anant Singh also gave a controversial statement regarding Pappu Yadav. When asked about the MP’s criticism, he said, “Who is Pappu Yadav?” And then repeated, “We don’t know dogs and cats.”
This comment has also attracted a lot of attention and is being criticized. Let us tell you that Anant Singh was arrested in connection with the Dularchand murder case that took place during the Bihar Assembly elections in November last year. He was detained from his home in Mokama and remained in jail for about four months. Patna High Court granted him regular bail on March 19, 2026. He was released on 23 March and later claimed that he had been falsely implicated.
future political plans
After being released from jail, Anant Singh had announced that he would no longer contest elections. He had said that his political responsibilities will now be handled by his son.
He had also expressed his support for former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said that if Nitish Kumar does not remain the Chief Minister, he will stay away from politics. Police say they are closely examining all the video evidence and more people involved may be identified. Officials have warned that strict action will be taken against those who break the law.
