Yogi Adityanath Reacts to Bengal Election Results: CM Yogi Adityanath gave a big statement on West Bengal election results and said that those who ignore the public are certain to be wiped out. 71 development projects worth Rs 612 crore were also inaugurated and foundation stone laid in Gorakhpur.
A political message has emerged from Gorakhpur, whose echo is being heard directly in West Bengal. Commenting on the West Bengal election results from the inaugural forum of development works, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath clearly said that political annihilation of those who ignore the public is certain. His statement not only intensified the debate regarding the election results, but also brought the relationship between governance and public trust into focus.
Yogi’s message on Bengal’s mandate: “The public sees everything”
Congratulating the people of West Bengal, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this result is a lesson for those political parties which ignore the people. He said that those governments which indulge in corruption in development money, give protection to goons and insult Sanatan traditions, their end is certain. He also said that under the guidance of Narendra Modi, West Bengal will now move forward in the direction of ‘Sonar Bangla’. This statement is being seen as a sign of a major change politically.

Development message from Gorakhpur: 71 projects worth Rs 612 crore
During the program organized in Jungle Beni Madhav area of Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 71 development projects costing Rs 612.32 crore. It also included the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Kalyana Mandapam (convention centre), which is being seen as a major facility for the middle and lower income group people. On this occasion, he said that when the intentions are clear, the policy is clear and the resolution is strong, then the results of development emerge automatically. He cited the change in Uttar Pradesh and especially Gorakhpur after 2017 as an example of this.
“Only good government brings good results”
In his address, Yogi Adityanath said that the quality of the government decides the direction of development. Referring to the results of West Bengal, he said that where there is no good government, the situation worsens. Citing the improvements made in the fields of roads, health, education and connectivity in Uttar Pradesh, he said that now the state is rapidly moving towards progress.
From closed fertilizer factory to four-lane roads: Changing picture of Gorakhpur
While detailing the story of development of Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister said that the fertilizer factory which was once closed and had become a symbol of corruption, is being operated again today. Along with this, many big infrastructure projects have been completed in the city, four-lane roads, overbridges, bypasses and better connectivity have given a new identity to Gorakhpur. He said that earlier, where it used to take 8-9 hours to go from Gorakhpur to Lucknow, now the same distance is covered in three and a half hours.
“Mosquitoes and mafia are both gone”: Claim of changed identity
Yogi Adityanath said that before 2017, the identity of Gorakhpur was associated with “mosquitoes and mafia”, but now the situation has completely changed. According to him, today Gorakhpur is known for safety, cleanliness, prosperity and strong roads. He said that the state government has created confidence among the people by giving priority to law and order.
Fast development is the path to prosperity
Emphasizing the direct relationship between development and prosperity, the Chief Minister said that the faster the pace of development, the faster the society and the nation will progress. He said that AIIMS in Gorakhpur, strengthening of BRD Medical College, AYUSH University and new housing schemes have improved the standard of living of common people. Besides, employment opportunities are also increasing due to new investment.
Projects that will change the face of the city
The foundation stone of many big projects was laid during this program, which include works related to Integrated Divisional Office, Kushmi Enclave Housing Scheme, road widening, Ring Road development and beautification of the city. The objective of these projects is to increase administrative convenience, improve traffic system and make urban life more accessible.
