On this occasion, he said that when the intentions are clear, the policy is clear and the resolution is strong, then the results of development emerge automatically. He cited the change in Uttar Pradesh and especially Gorakhpur after 2017 as an example of this.

He said that earlier, where it used to take 8-9 hours to go from Gorakhpur to Lucknow, now the same distance is covered in three and a half hours.

Yogi Adityanath said that before 2017, the identity of Gorakhpur was associated with “mosquitoes and mafia”, but now the situation has completely changed. According to him, today Gorakhpur is known for safety, cleanliness, prosperity and strong roads. The foundation stone of many big projects was laid during this program, which include works related to Integrated Divisional Office, Kushmi Enclave Housing Scheme, road widening, Ring Road development and beautification of the city.
