Super Good Films founder RB Choudary passes away in Udaipur car accident

Chennai: Renowned film producer R.B. Choudary, father of actors Jiiva and Jithan Ramesh, has passed away following a vehicle accident near Udaipur, Rajasthan. He was 68 years old. Choudary, who had traveled to Udaipur for personal reasons, sustained severe injuries in the mishap and was admitted to a nearby hospital, where medical treatment proved ineffective.

A Prolific Career in Indian Cinema

R.B. Choudary was a prominent producer who produced over 70 films across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. As the proprietor of ‘Super Good Films,’ he delivered numerous successful movies. He entered the film industry in the late 1980s and went on to win three Filmfare Awards.

His sons, Jithan Ramesh and Jiiva, are established actors in Tamil cinema. Choudary was one of the key producers who delivered numerous hit films in Tamil cinema, and his demise is viewed as a significant loss to the film industry.
