Remove thick bottom leaves
You have to remove the lower leaves of the grown aloe vera plant from time to time. By doing this, the stem of the plant gets air and water also gets absorbed into the soil properly. If you do not remove the leaves, water will continue to accumulate in the upper surface. Due to which after some time the stem will also start rotting. After removing the leaves, do not water your aloe vera plant for about 2 to 3 days. By doing this the plant will recover and there will be no chance of rotting.
Care of small plants is also important
Along with the big plant, small aloe vera plants also need care. You should repot the plant into a larger pot after removing the larger leaves at the bottom of the plant. By doing this the plant grows faster and the plant does not rot.
Avoid over watering
Do not make the mistake of over-watering the aloe vera plant. When the soil does not look moist, water it after 7–10 days. Keep aloe vera in bright but indirect sunlight for 4–6 hours daily. Morning sunlight is good for the plant. Use a sandy or succulent potting mix with good drainage for the plant.
