Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Bhoomi Pujan program of Rishi Galav University in Gwalior and called it a big educational step for the state. He said that this university will not only become a center of education but will also play an important role in nation building.

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the historical city Gwalior has been the pinnacle of bravery, scholarship and art since ancient times. With the establishment of Rishi Galav University, Gwalior is moving towards creating a new identity as the education hub of the state. Apart from being a center of education, a university is also a place of nation building. This institute, being built in the name of Rishi Galav, will make our coming generations the pioneers of nation building by equipping them with values, culture and skills. The sacrifice of Rev. Sadashiv Ganesh Gokhale, the founder of Madhya Bharat Shiksha Samiti, is revered. He laid the foundation of this committee on 21 July 1941, 85 years ago and took a pledge to awaken the flame of education in the difficult times of subjugation. This journey that started from one school reached four colleges, five schools and one sports academy. At present more than 5 thousand students are studying in various institutions. In Rishi Galav University, students will get education of modern science and technology along with Indian knowledge tradition. Its aim is to create citizens who are knowledgeable, characterful, innovative and responsible for the society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Bhoomi Pujan program of Rishi Galav University.

Special focus on ability among students under new education policy

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lord Shri Krishna came to Ujjain to receive education after killing Kansa and during this time he set a wonderful example of friendship with Sudama. This is an indication that there should be no barrier between the rich and the poor. At the same time, we also get examples of misuse of education in the context of Dronacharya and Drupada, but the example of spreading the values ​​of humanity through Nalanda and Takshashila universities is also present in the Indian knowledge tradition. Following this spirit, special attention is being given to ability, efficiency and character building of students under the new education policy through Sandipani schools in the state. Referring to West Bengal, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, nationalist ideas are continuously expanding to the borders of the country.

Tradition of convocation started with turban instead of black coat.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Rishi Galav University will become a living example of joint efforts of the government and society. The state government will provide every possible support in establishing this university dedicated to nationalist ideas with full pride and dignity. Education is the biggest asset of life, considering it as the basis, many innovations have been made in the field of higher education. In this sequence, the Vice Chancellor of the University has been given the respectable and respectful address of Vice Chancellor. Organizing Guru Purnima in the entire state is also an innovation in this sequence. The tradition of convocation ceremony in Indian attire with turban in place of black coat was started. Earlier, convocation ceremonies were not organized for many years, now convocation ceremonies are being organized every year in every university.

Universities started in the name of Tatya Tope, Tantya Bhil

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Tatya Tope University was established in Guna and Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University in Khargone. There was already a Central University in Sagar, along with it Rani Avantibai Lodhi University was started by the state government. By establishing PM Colleges of Excellence in all 55 districts of the state, they are being developed as multi-faculty colleges in accordance with the new education policy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Madhya Bharat Shiksha Samiti for reviving the glorious tradition of Rishi Galav in the form of a university. He said that he wishes that the resolve to start the university by Guru Purnima next year is fulfilled.
