New Delhi: Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay‘s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has stormed past MK Stalin’s Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) by crossing the majority mark of 118. As Vijay’s party is heading towards the historic win, several actors, including Nani and Tiger Shroff, among others, have congratulated him for crossing the magic figure as he leads in over 120 seats.

Actress Trisha Krishnan, who is celebrating her 43rd birthday on Monday (May 4), reached Leo actor’s residence after seeking blessings at the Tirupati Temple. The visuals of her arriving at Vijay’s home has now gone viral on social media. In another video, she was also spotted leaving from his residence.

Vijay’s political entry
Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar aka Thalapathy Vijay launched his party TVK in February 2024 and was officially registered by the Election Commission of India. Earlier, he said that he sees the assembly polls as a ‘democratic battle’ rather than an electoral fight.
