Ahead of the counting of votes in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has accused BJP of irregularities due to fear of defeat. Expressing fear of power cut and manipulation of VVPAT, he has instructed the workers to remain alert during the counting of votes.
Kolkata: Political infighting and rhetoric continues till the last round in West Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has instructed her workers to be extremely careful. He has said that incidents like deliberate load shedding (power cuts) and non-functioning of CCTV cameras are coming to light from many places.
Mamta has directed that if any person is seen acting suspiciously, he should be surrounded and caught. He also informed that VVPAT slips have been found on the roadside in North 24 Parganas.
Mamata Banerjee clearly said in a post on social media, “This is all BJP’s game. Seeing defeat certain, BJP can do anything.” With most exit polls predicting an upset, the entire nation’s eyes are on West Bengal. Today, votes will be counted on 293 out of 294 assembly seats in the state and results will be revealed. Voting will be held again on Falta seat. Mamta has instructed her workers to be extremely alert even during the counting of votes.
